If My Eyes Were 400 Feet Above My Head

Griffin Fluehr was born and raised in New York City (Queens), and resided  there his entire life. Griffin has more than 8 years experience using drones and as the technology has advanced, so has the reach and complexity of Griffin’s images.  One of his first exhibitions was  “If my eyes were 400 feet above my head”.

He enjoys shooting both still images as well as video clips. He became interested in flying drones in his teens and often uses drones to capture the unique perspectives that are found at altitude. Since he enjoys hiking and mountaineering, many of the images he has taken try to capture the serenity and scale of the environment.

Griffin presently uses two different drones for his drone photography. He often uses filters as well as multiple spliced images in order to capture the scale of his locations. Griffin is currently a senior at Trinity College in Hartford Connecticut. He is pursuing a bachelor  degree  in Studio Arts.. His  solo show  focuses on his drone photography.
